Sleeping Feelings Chapter 1- A New Day

A New Day
   
   The alarm clock was ringing incessantly in the middle of the dark in a bedroom.  A small white hand got out between the sheets, and between them, a 17-years-old girl was stretching and yawning.

  "First day of school Hinata, this is your last year that is why you shouldn't disappoint anybody, this year you'll be a proud for the family" thought the girl, while she was looking herself in the mirror from head to toe.
A knocked on the door interrupted her thoughts.

-Who is? –

A brown hair appeared at the door, it was her little sister Hanabi of 12 years old.

-Onee-san, the breakfast is ready, remember that Otou-san has to go out early today, so don't be late-

-I'll be ready in a moment, Hanabi- she smiled shyly and looked again at the mirror.

   Her sister Hanabi was an outgoing and determined girl, the opposite of her, since she seemed to have all the self-esteem and the self-confidence that Hinata didn't have. Anyway, she loved her deeply. They were very united, to be the only girls in the house, except of the maids, their father was working all the day that is why the girls used to spend great deal of the time together.

   Although she was a little girl, at the beginning of the puberty, she was always trying to help her big sister to overcome the shyness, especially when it was about boys, Hanabi was very uninhibited.

-Hinata-neesan!- was heard from below.

-I'm going!- she stopped of looking at the mirror, because of being lost in her thoughts she didn't notice when she put her school uniform, she took her things and went down running the stairs.

-Good morning, Otou-san- Hinata made a little bow to her father, who was drinking a cup of tea while one of the maids put Hinata's breakfast on the empty place of the big table.

-Good morning, Hinata- said Hiashi serenely without take his eyes of an important document of the company.

-Onee-san! Why did you take so long? We'd already started without you! Remember that is the first day! We mustn't be late!- said Hanabi a little irritated, when it was about the school she was very strict, being one of the most featured students in her class.

-I-I'm s-sorry, Ha-Hanabi, O-Otou-san I-I d-didn't want t-to…- was saying Hinata while she started to play with her fingers and hide her look and red cheeks.

    Hanabi snorted annoyed at her big sister attitude, the truth is that she hated a lot when Hinata was like that when she was in the presence of their father or anyone else who wasn't her,  since Hinata only  act like herself when the two sisters were  alone, it was very difficult to try to change her sister when it was about conversation with the others and not to mention when she wanted to express herself.

-You can sit, Hinata- said Hiashi undeterred, but with a very cold voice.

   As if it was a lightening, Hinata was already sit next to her sister, stirring her breakfast with her  silverware, she didn't feel hungry and preferred to eat something more peaceful in the cafeteria of the school.

-Onee-san, Naoki-san is waiting to take us to the school- said Hanabi vaguely.

-Aaah, y-yes! I-I'm r-ready!- said Hinata while she was getting up of her place with her sister, greeted too their father and went to the entry of the mansion.

   There, next to the white limousine, was a man of about 54 years old, he was elegantly dress, his hair was grey and he was very tall. His skin was a bit tanned but what really distinguished him was his gentle smile. Naoki has been one of the more faithful workers for Hiashi for many years before Hinata born; he was a good-hearted man.  He has always treated the Hyuga sisters like they were his daughters, with his wife Hikari, who was like a second mother to Hinata and Hanabi.

-Good Morning, Hanabi-sama, Hinata-sama- said the man smiling, while he was opening the limousine doors.

-Good Morning Naoki-san- said Hanabi while she was entering.

-G-good m-morning, N-Naoki-san- said Hinata.

    The way was very quiet, except for Hanabi's excited shouts for meeting again her classmates  and one another comment about a special character who has taken his sister very silly and distracted all the summer, what made Hinata blush furiously, Hanabi made gestures accomplices and Naoki laughed.

     Luckily for Hinata, whose face could be compare to a mature tomato,  they arrived to the doors of the institute, she left quickly the vehicle and ran to the entry while she wailed to Hanabi and Naoki. Hanabi laughed for her sister's attitude, she got shy very easily. After that, Naoki took the little girl to the doors of her school.

     Hinata arrived to her classroom a little stirred, opened the door and entered slowly while she was situating on the last desk, where she could be overlooked.

-Hey Hinata! A long time not seeing you!- Hinata turned and looked at her two childhood friends, Sakura and Ino.

  Haruno Sakura was a girl with white skin and a strange pink hair, she had beautiful green eyes and a very strong personality and self-confidence. Yamanaka Ino was as beautiful as her, her eyes were blue and her long hair in a ponytail, her personality wasn't very different to Sakura's, and that was one of the reasons why they have a lot of arguments, but it never was enough strong to separate them.

-G-good M-morning, S-Sakura-san, Ino-san-

-Hinata, this summer you completely disappeared and I thought we could spend more time with you- said Ino while she was making a pot on her face.

-Ino-pig is right, where did you go? I sent you a lot of messages and calls, but you didn't answer me- said Sakura with curiosity.

-I-it wa-was that m-my fa-father wa-wanted to go t-to th-the l-lake, and he d-didn't let us t-to t-take the phones, s-something ve-very fa-familiar, on-only us, N-Naoki-san a-and Hi-Hikari-san-

-It's ok Hinata-chan, but this year I want to go out together more starting from this weekend, in compensation for all that we haven't seen you!- said Ino happily.

-In the lunch you will tell us all about your holidays Hinata, and catch up day! There are a lot of things that I want to tell you! - said Sakura with a cheerful smile.

In that moment, someone entered in the classroom, the girls turned with curiosity. Automatically Hinata's look shone while her cheeks were taking a red color and her mouth was forming a shy smile.  It was him! Her platonic love since she was 7 years old, Uzumaki Naruto, a tall boy, with a tanned skin and a tousled blond hair. But what Hinata made love him was his personality, his courage and he never had fear to express what he wanted of felt, he was the kind of person that Hinata wanted to be someday.

-Good Morning girls, how are you?- said the boy with a radiant smile.

-Naruto! How are you? - said Sakura. They were best friends since they had 12 years, with Uchiha Sasuke, other guy of the same classroom. They inseparables.

-Hello Naruto- said Ino smiling and charming, like always.

-G-good Mor-morning, Na-naruto-kun- said Hinata, looking at her feet like if it was the most interesting thing in the world.

The bell rang suddenly; everyone in the classroom went to their desks. The door opened and entered a man with grey hair and a mask, with a style very careless. He was Hatake Kakashi, the literature professor.

-I can't believe it! Kakashi-sensei arrived early in the first day! - whispered Ino to Sakura.

-It could be a sign of the apocalypse!- answered Sakura.

-Please stop your comments; the Headmaster Tsunade threatened me to- I MEAN! She said me that I couldn't arrive late this day- said Kakashi while he was putting his book on the desk and yawned.

-Anyway, I know that this is the first day but it doesn't mean that you won't make nothing, no sir, open your books and read the remaining chapters, I notice you that the next class I will make you a revision and I want your opinion in a report- said vaguely at the same time that a general complaint was heard in the classroom.

Hinata sighed, since that moment was taken for started the new school year, she only wanted that everything stay normal and without surprises.
